When I saw the job application for Social Media Assistant for the brand new opening of Grafham Waters park I knew it was for me! I love being able to get creative and showcase my work online.

From day 1 I knew that it was going to be the best summer job! Connor was amazing and gave me all the training and support I needed to get me into the ropes of how the social media platforms work for the summer. On top of content creation I was also managing customer service enquires through direct messages & also assisted in the pack downs of Grafham and Rutland which was also really fun to help close up for the season!

Over the course of my 5 months at Aqua Park Group I successfully had 3 videos that reached over 1 million+ views on TikTok which was a great accomplishment for younger Dan who had nothing but dreamed of hitting a million views let alone 7 million over the course of such a short period of time!

Aqua Park Group is like one big family that you get to know better and better as the summer goes on. Working as a social media assistant for Aqua Park Group was so fun yet so challenging! It’s not all sunshine and rainbows because you will need to be willing to suit up on the rainy days and go out there to get the content we need! This role is perfect for those who love video/photography and all aspects of content creation. This job is for those who have a strong passion for social media and for those who can think outside of the box!

Throughout the summer they would have staff sessions on the park which were always a great laugh and perfect for team bonding and making new friends! I can’t wait to return for the foreseeing future and see where this job role takes me!
