AQUA PARK CARDIFF,
CARDIFF BAY BARRAGE

The Aqua Park is situated 200m from Cardiff Bay Sailing Centre. The site is not accessible via Cargo Rd and THERE IS NO PARKING ON THE BARRAGE. Please use the postcodes of your chosen car park for your GPS, sat navs, and taxis, so you can park and walk to the Aqua Park. You need to arrive at the Aqua Park at least 30 minutes before your session start time, so please plan your journey and allow for the walk times to get to us. It is accessible on foot or by bike from the Penarth side of the Barrage, or along the Barrage walkway past Porth Teigr on the Cardiff Bay side.

Harbour Drive (CF10 4WZ) near the Norwegian Church

Limited parking: 15-20 minute walk to the Aqua Park

Havannah Street (CF10 5SG) near Techniquest and St David’s Hotel

30 minute walk to the Aqua Park

Stuart Street (CF10 5BS) in Mermaid Quay

25-30 minute walk to the Aqua Park

Pierhead Street (CF10 4PH) near Wales Millennium Centre and The Red Dragon Centre.

  • Travel By Train

Transport For Wales run a regular service from Cardiff Queen Street station in the city centre to Cardiff Bay station. It’s a 25 minute walk from the station to the Aqua Park.

  • Travel By Bus

The BayCar operates from Cardiff city centre to the Barrage Walkway bus stop. Just hop on board the number 6. It’s a 15 minute walk from the bus stop to the Aqua Park.
