Additional support to help you splash out

We welcome all customers to the Aqua Park and are committed to doing everything we can to create a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive experience for everyone.

We believe every person should be able to enjoy their visit with confidence, comfort, and independence. Our commitment to accessibility means we aim to provide clear information, reduce barriers wherever possible, and offer meaningful support to customers with accessibility requirements before and during their time with us.

Our parks are designed to bring people together, sharing laugh-out-loud moments, taking on a physical challenge, and boosting both mental and physical wellbeing.

While our courses are built with accessibility in mind, they do involve a degree of physical and mental challenge. This may mean that, in some cases, adjustments to supervision or support levels are required to ensure safe participation. For some individuals, even with additional support measures in place, the remaining risk may still be too great to allow safe use of the course.

If you or anyone in your group has accessibility requirements or would benefit from specific support, please let us know before making a booking so we can advise and assist. We offer complimentary carer tickets for those who require the support of a companion during their visit.

Thank you to all of the staff for giving our deaf children an amazing time at your Aqua park. From the off Connor was very accommodating and helpful to ensure I knew how to book the children in and what our needs were for the day. Matt you looked after us so well on the day. You made the experience accessible for our kids meaning the parents could enjoy an hour off relaxing and enjoying watching the children. A huge thumbs up from Peterborough deaf children’s society. We will definitely be back next year xx

Couldn’t rate the customer service high enough ! Absolutely above & beyond, every one of them. An extremely inclusive & friendly bunch who couldn’t of been more helpful. My family wouldn’t of been able to access something like this without an amazing team like this. Outstanding ! I wish more places had teams like these guys. I didn’t get all their names but the Max & the rest of the staff today all deserve a big pat on the back from higher management!

Chloe – Lakeside

We got there quite early which meant it was quieter. My daughter has Autism, severe anxiety & poor eyesight which all meant she was struggling with confidence. Without Callum, the lifeguard there to support her she wouldn’t have even got in. He went above and beyond to support her. Thank you so much!

Visual Impairment

Depending on the severity of the participants visual impairment, you may need 1-2-1 companions to help assist you on the park. The level of support will depend on a number of factors including the degree of impairment and whether there are any under 16-year old’s in your group. Please contact us to discuss this further.

Hearing Impairment

Our pre-activity Safety Briefs can be communicated using our visual aids video. It is important that you give us as much notice as possible to ensure these are in place. For instance, groups may like or need to bring signers/ translators or hearing companions.

We are very happy to discuss your requirements as Aqua Park Group does not have in-house translators. Please view our subtitled briefing video ahead of arrival.

Limb Difference

If you are able to swim 25m unaided then should be fine to take part. However, the security of prosthetics at height and during water landings and climbs on obstacles needs to be considered. With sufficient advance notice we can make adjustments to facilitate safe entry to the water.

Mental health & Learning Difficulties

Depending on the participants, up to 2 additional companions may be needed to assist throughout the course. If a participant is unable to remain attentive for the training and then apply what they have learned on the session, then the activity may not be suitable for them.

Consideration must be taken for any participants that are under prescribed medication and whether this could affect their conduct on the course. We are happy to chat through requirements.
