Check, Clean, Dry your equipement!

Help stop the spread of invasive plants and animals in our waters! Invasive species can be small and hard to spot so are easily spread on damp equipment and clothing. You can help protect the environment and activities you enjoy by keeping your kit free of invasive plants and animals, whenever you leave the water remember to:

  • Personal wetsuit and wetshoe use is not permitted at Cosmeston lakes
  • Check your equipment, boat, and clothing after leaving the water for mud, aquatic animals or plant material. Remove anything you find and leave it at the site.
  • Clean everything thoroughly as soon as you can, paying attention to areas that are damp or hard to access. Use hot water if possible.
  • Dry everything for as long as you can before using elsewhere as some invasive plants and animals can survive for over two weeks in damp conditions.

Our safety culture

Our mission is to provide a 5 star experience that is fun and challenging for all our customers in an environment in which they feel safe and respected. We are always looking for ways to lead the Aqua Park industry by improving safety standards, investing in our people and improving visitor experience.

We train and develop our people season on season, becoming the first UK Aqua Park operator to be recognised as an Approved Training Centre by the RLSS in 2018. The Group has now trained over 300 employees across 3 locations in UK’s leading Open Water Lifeguarding qualification.

In 2022, whilst working closely with the RLSS we rolled out a new Aqua Park Training module to all our lifeguard teams. This means the Aqua Park specific training we provide to our teams is now a recognised qualification.

We also work with safety partners like South west fire and rescue and Rutland Medical solutions to give our teams extra training throughout the season.

We are passionate about Water Safety and support the RLSS on water safety education with children in the community.

We are proud to be key founding members of the Aqua Parks Association UK and Ireland along with other operators and the RLSS.

The Association exists to support its members, provide expert advice, help create networking connections and create a safer Aqua Park Industry for all to enjoy.

All our locations have been received RLSS Industry Approved Aqua Park accreditations.
